CONNECT

What does it mean to follow Jesus right now, in your unique context and circumstances?

At Solano we call this journey the Discipleship Pathway

It is how we help one another gather momentum, experience new growth and see God glorified in our lives.

Find out how you can take the next step on the Discipleship Pathway with the information below.

  • GET CONNECTED

DECIDE TO PURSUE JESUS CHRIST WITH THIS COMMUNITY

Here are some ways to get connected at Solano...

Come along to a Sunday morning service at 9am or 11am.

Ocean View Elementary School, 1000 Jackson St., Albany CA.

If you have questions about what it means to pursue Jesus, Solano’s Alpha Courses are a safe place to ask those questions. To find out more, email the team at alpha@solanochurch.org.

Home Groups are foundational to life at Solano.
They are open for anyone to visit, so connect with a leader via our Home Group page.

Discover how your child can get involved with our Kids and Youth Ministries.

Visit our Events page to find out when our next ‘Get Connected’ lunch is happening where you can meet fellow newcomers and Solano regulars.

Sign up for a Membership Class - a two-part class in which you can meet people and find out more about our beliefs, history and vision.

Email info@solanochurch.org to find out the details of the next membership class and to RSVP.

  • GET GROUNDED

LEARN TO CENTER YOUR LIFE IN CHRIST

    To get grounded at Solano…

Attend a Gospel Academy core course, which explores the foundations of what it means to live out your faith in the world. Email info@solanochurch.org for the next class.

Women can grow together in our Women’s Ministry

Email women@solanochurch.org to find out more and visit our events page to find out when the next women’s ministry event is.

Read our Opiso Blog. Opiso means “follow” in the language of Jesus’ day and our blog is a journey to explore what it means to find and follow Jesus today.

  • GET HEALTHY

FOCUS ON ISSUES THAT CHOKE OUT GROWTH

Here are some ways to get healthy at Solano…

Start an Emmaus Partnership. These small groups of 2-3 people meet to study the bible, pray and walk the journey of faith together.

Ask about Counseling. We want to walk alongside you as your work through issues that choke out your spiritual growth. If you are interested in counseling email info@solanochurch.org and we can connect you with biblical counseling resources.

Visit our Events page to find when our next Gospel Academy Elective is happening. Gospel Academy Electives cover a range of topics: emotionally healthy relationships, biblical approaches to finances, parenting, singleness, and family.

Come on a retreat with us. Solano periodically retreats together whether as a whole family or a smaller group, such as Women’s Retreat. Visit our Events page to find out more.

  • GET STRONG

PURSUE GREATER TRAINING & SERVICE IN CHURCH AND THE CITY

Some ways to get strong at Solano include...

Ministry Academy is a way of training for a specific area of service, such as worship. Attend a Sunday and connect with one of our ministry leaders to find out how you can pursue training in any ministry area.

Avodah is our Faith & Work Ministry that equips and encourage Christians to be fully present in the workplace. While Sunday might seem like a different world than Monday, the Bible says that your work can be worship and should be glorifying to God. Visit our Events page to find out when the next Avodah event is taking place or email avodah@solanochurch.org.

Apprenticeships and Internships are a way to learn about ministry, serve the church and explore whether God is calling you to a life of ministry in a particular area. We offer internships once per year, so email info@solanochurch.org if you’d like to find out more.

  • GET GOING

MULTIPLY YOUR LIFE BY MAKING AND MATURING OTHER DISCIPLES.
