Gospel  Academy: Conflict Resolution, Sept 20 - Oct 11

Jesus said “blessed are the peacemakers,” yet so often, we are anything but that. This four-week class will explore what the Bible has to say about resolving conflict, and the power of the gospel to bring peace and healing to our most difficult situations. We will apply these principles to our current conflicts in this workshop-style class on Wednesdays 7:30-9pmSeptember 20-October 11. Please note location change to: 1319 Solano Ave, Albany, CA.  Email Jackie (jackie@solanochurch.org) to sign up. Childcare provided.

Save the Date! Count Me In, October 21
Solano strives to be a church that makes loving God and neighbor and everyday reality. One of the ways we do this is through our biannual day of service to seniors and vulnerable members of our community. Join us for Count Me In, Saturday October 21! Email info@solanochurch.org for more information or to nominate a friend or neighbor.

Women's Bible Study, Sept 6 - Nov 15

Women’s Discussion Morning: Saturday, September 23
Are you interested in having an honest discussion about infertility?  Solano Women's Ministry would like to invite you to a panel where several members of our congregation will share their experiences with infertility.  Whether this is an issue that affects you or someone you know, or you'd simply like to learn more, we hope this will be a safe space to just listen, or for women to share their own stories and receive support and prayer.  The panel will be held September 23rd, from 9:30-11 am, location TBA.  Please contact Jackie Knapp at jackie@solanochurch.org for questions and to RSVP.

Membership Classes, November 5 & 12

Membership classes are an opportunity to become familiar with Solano's beliefs, history, mission and structure. It’s also a time to meet others and learn what it means to partner with your brothers and sisters in Christ for ministry. At the end of the class you can prayerfully decide, in your own time, whether or not you are ready to become a member. Email info@solanochurch.org to sign up and for more information.

Help serve the those in need in the East Bay.

As Jesus encouraged us to serve the poor & disenfranchised in our communities, Solano has for several years made homeless outreach a central part of our mission. As such, a year ago we helped establish Albany's free shower program for people experiencing homelessness. We are currently looking for occasional or regular volunteers to help with a variety of tasks on Thursday mornings (8-9am) OR afternoons (1-3pm) for sandwich prep, sandwich distribution, welcoming team, etc. For more details contact Evelyne St-Louis at evelyne.stl@gmail.com.
