Booth at the Solano Stroll - Sunday, Sept. 12

Live out SCC’s vision of being Christ followers who making loving God and our neighbors an everyday reality by volunteering to staff SCC’s booth at the 36th annual Solano Stroll. This year, our booth’s theme will be around serving our community and fellowship.  All that’s required of volunteers is a smile along with a loving heart and attitude as you greet visitors at our booth.  A volunteer sign-up sheet will be available at the back table during service, and you can also learn more and sign up for shifts on The City! SCC Goes to the Ballpark – Saturday, September 25

Come out to see the Oakland A's play the Texas Rangers for their Church Community Day on Saturday, September 25!  The game starts at 1:05 p.m., and tickets are only $15. Learn more and sign up here. Please contact Nicole Corbitt if you have any questions.

Annual Congregational Meeting – Sunday, September 26

Don't miss this important Sunday where we will celebrate what God has done over the past year, as well as look forward to the coming year. It is important that all church members attend.

Save the Date: Count Me In – Saturday, October 9

Mark your calendars for our next Count Me In project! The Count Me In (CMI) service projects are expressions of grace intended to help the elderly and needy in our community. Learn more about CMI and watch a video of a past service day here. Sign-ups will start soon!

Sunday Seminars

Two new Sunday Seminars are currently being offered. The first is a 12-week session, led by Kevin Peet. The title is "2 Corinthians: The Heart of an Apostle." The second is a 6-week session, led by Andrew Franklin. "Beyond Narnia" will explore the the major themes of C.S. Lewis' writings. Sunday seminars meet at 9:00 a.m. at the community center. Faith Stories: What is God Doing in Your Life?

We have a vision for celebrating faith stories in Home Group, on the City and even in the worship service. The first step is to find out what God is doing. If you have a story, please take a minute and share it with us here.
