  • Martin Kang -  Operations  Manager

Simultaneously born with his brother into a Christian home in Southern California, Martin came to personally know Jesus as a sophomore in high school. He spent a few formatively painful years living in Korea, grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, and came up to the Bay Area to attend college. There are far too many books, succulents, and coffee-related supplies in his apartmentbut he thoroughly enjoys them all.

  • Ryan Julius -  College and Interim Children's Ministry Director

Ryan grew up in Napa, CA. While he was raised in a Christian home, it wasn’t until a missions trip to Zimbabwe when he was 17 that he really began to follow Jesus. After studying chemistry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Ryan moved to The Bay to work with Cru at UC Berkeley. While working with Cru, he was able to develop skills in evangelism, discipleship, and missions. However, his true passion is for the local church, so after a few years with Cru he transitioned into serving through Solano. He is excited to learn how to serve through the local church and hopes to someday multiply churches in countries where there is less access to the gospel. Ryan loves basketball, music, reading, video games, and his mega awesome wife Melody.

  • Denise Boyle - Youth Ministry Assistant

Denise is a Bay Area native.  Raised in a Christian home, she came to know Jesus as her personal savior as a young child.  She is a wife to Edward (since 1993) and mom to two daughters, Erin born in 1998 and Dylan born in 2005.  She has always had a heart for working with young people, and to be able to do that and openly integrate her faith has been a blessing beyond measure.  Denise has never met a craft she doesn't like, and as the wife of a hardware store owner has become handier than she ever imagined was possible.

  • Terri - Administrative Assistant

Terri, who finds it awkward to write about herself in the third person, was born and raised in Honolulu, HI in a Christian home. She came to faith in elementary school thanks to the faithfulness of two amazing, godly Sunday School teachers. Terri had no official administrative assistant experience before coming to Solano, but brought years of experience supporting her husband, Royce, in ministry—first as a seminary wife, then as a pastor's wife. When she's not working at Solano, Terri reads old dead languages, teaches, and plays in the dirt (aka archaeology). In her copious amounts of spare time, Terri likes to experiment in the kitchen or get lost in a good book.
