Gospel Academy | Hospitality and Hope in a Relationally-Fragmented World, March 18

Join us on Sunday, March 18, 6pm at Trinity El Cerrito Campus, (7200 Schmidt Lane) for a special Gospel Academy session presented by Bethany Jenkins. Bethany is the Vice President of Forums at The Veritas Forum, a contributor at The Gospel Coalition, and a Senior Fellow at The King’s College. She will be discussing how we can recover a vision of the church as a family in a way that offers hope and love to our increasingly fragmented world. Youth Fundraiser: Bake Sale Next Sunday, March 18!

Help Solano Youth get to Hume Lake Christian Camp this summer. Bring some cash (or your checkbook) to church next Sunday and buy some tasty treats!

Friday, March 30, 7pm: Good Friday service followed by a meal and a screening of The Passion of the Christ (8th grade and up). Trinity EFCA.

Saturday, March 31, 7pm: Film Premiere Party for The Peculiar Journey of the Searchers and the King, the sequel of the Solano Kids films. Ocean View Elementary School, 1000 Jackson St., Albany.

Count Me In is a time when the Solano Church family gathers together to love our neighbors by serving them in their homes. It’s a great event to invite friends to who are outside of your church circle, and a great opportunity to love our city. Put the date in your calendar now! Help serve the those in need in the East Bay.
As Jesus encouraged us to serve the poor & disenfranchised in our communities, Solano has for several years made homeless outreach a central part of our mission. As such, a year ago we helped establish Albany's free shower program for people experiencing homelessness. We are currently looking for occasional or regular volunteers to help with a variety of tasks on Thursday mornings (8-9am) OR afternoons (1-3pm) for sandwich prep, sandwich distribution, welcoming team, etc. For more details contact Evelyne St-Louis at
