Solano Community Church is a growing, diverse, gospel-centered congregation of 350 people looking for a Children’s Ministry Director. The appropriate candidate will be energized by the challenge of ministering in the unique environment of the Bay Area and will have a track record of working well with children and volunteers. They must be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ and be in complete agreement with our statement of faith. 

The Children’s Ministry Director is responsible for developing, organizing, and administering the Children’s Ministry of Solano Community Church. This will involve overseeing Sunday logistics, recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers, and staying in regular communication with parents about all pertinent aspects of ministry. 

The Children’s Ministry Director will serve on a collaborative, relational staff team that enjoys working together in a fast-paced environment.

The Children’s Director will help Solano fulfill its mission to make and mature disciples through the Solano Kids Ministry. They will create a place where children can have fun, ask questions and learn what it means to follow Jesus.

Specifically, they will lead Sunday School, develop and implement curriculum, coordinate and equip volunteers to teach and supervise, communicate with families, and potentially oversee non-Sunday events for children and families as needed.
